The U.C. Berkeley SaaS course has come to an end and I give it 5 thumbs up, 5 out of 4 stars, and so on. It was a great online course. There were some rough edges (mostly related to the videos), but the course was just right for me. It did a great job of introducing the concepts and software tools of Agile development.
We learned about Ruby, Rails, Git, Heroku, AWS, Linux, VirtualBox VM images, BDD, Cucumber, Capybara, and Rspec — in only 5 weeks. The course made its point well: it introduces all of the great technology that’s available and waiting for you to get started building your own SaaS projects.
I liked this course so much that I’ve signed up to take it again. If you’re interested, you can register here.
